Join us for a special evening in September at the Portland Art Museum for Bridge Meadows IMAGINE Fall Auction & Gala. All attendees will enjoy a selection of wine and cocktails, dinner, and live auction while supporting the meaningful work Bridge Meadows provides for children who have experienced foster care, parents and elders in our community. Portland’s favorite, KGW Anchor Drew Carney and Benefit Auctions 360's Johnna Wells will co-host our event. Entertainment will be provided by Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective of Portland. Come celebrate the transformative power of intergenerational communities!
About the Gala
The IMAGINE Fall Auction & Gala is the premier fundraising event for Bridge Meadows. Since its inception in 2005, the IMAGINE Fall Auction & Gala has raised more than $2 million to sustain and build intentional, intergenerational neighborhoods for former foster youth, parents and elders, building place, permanence and purpose one community at a time.
Why support the Gala?
The Power of Place, Permanence, and a Shared Social Purpose: Working at the intersection of child welfare, affordable housing, health, and aging, Bridge Meadows’ community-driven program of integrated onsite services and therapeutic interventions improves quality of life, health, housing stability and educational attainment for residents at every stage of life. As children move from the instability of foster care to permanent homes and families, they begin to heal. Parents receive essential social support to increase their confidence and efficacy in parenting children who have experienced trauma. Elders combat the deleterious effects of aging and social isolation by serving as honorary grandparents, mentors, and friends, while keeping their bodies fit and their brains engaged. All three generations are building resiliency and demonstrating improved health and wellness.
Your support at the IMAGINE Fall Auction & Gala will make it possible for future generations to benefit from a Bridge Meadows community.
