Deep rest awaits…
Whether you find yourself in the midst of the back-to-school hustle and bustle, complex schedules, or responding to others’ needs, you need a space to rest, to be nurtured, to be cared for. A space where you can let go and just receive. A space to show up as you are. No planning, no responsibility. A space to just be.
We see you, and we're here for you. You don’t need to plan a thing. Just be here. We’ll provide the rest.
Our day of deep rest will take place at breathtaking Liminalia in Vernonia, Oregon. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Space is available for up to 12 guests.
The Flow...
Arrive at 9:00 am to take in the scenery, cozy up with a book, or rest in the sauna or steam room. Enjoy a light breakfast of seasonally inspired yummies catered by Lepage Food & Drinks. Then, make your way to the yoga sanctuary for our opening circle and yoga with Josephine Woolington, followed by circle singing and vocal meditation with Audrey Voon. Break for lunch and enjoy connecting with other retreat members, or opt for some quietude in the sunlit attic. Then make your way back to the yoga sanctuary for a sound bath with Jana Crenshaw. Those who wish will also receive healing touch from Jana and neck and scalp massage throughout the sound bath from Kathy Prewitt. Bliss out. Take a nap. Revisit the sauna. Tend to your soul.
Our intention is for you to come away from our time together feeling nourished and replenished, ready to move into the next phase of these autumn months and the winter holidays that follow.
This retreat is for you if…
You value deep rest;
You are interested in enriching your soul care practice;
You are open to exploring the healing properties of your own voice;*
You have experience meditating or are curious to learn more about different styles of meditation, including mindfulness meditation, embodied movement ((such as walking, eating, dancing, yoga, and qigong)), and vocalization;
You could use a day out in the countryside, in the woods, or near natural running water, and to be given the gift of replenishing meals that you don’t have to cook yourself.
*You do not need to be a self-identified singer to experience the benefits of your voice. While everyone will be invited to sing, the option to receive song without participating through voice is always available. You will be encouraged to explore your voice and to perhaps set aside ((even if just for the day)) any previous expectations you may have of your voice. Be curious and open to the possibilities...

Alexis J. Cunningfolk’s Green Bottle Method is a great guide to help you determine where you fall on the scale.
